Pastor Fred is a graduate of Appalachian Bible College in Beckley, West Virginia. After graduating, he served as Assistant Pastor at Covington Bible Church in Covington, Virginia for two years. Feeling God's call on their life to move into missions, Fred and his wife Cindy joined Biblical Ministries Worldwide in 2003 and were sent as church planters to Honduras where they served for ten years. While living in Honduras, four of their five children were born. After returning to the United States in 2014, they spent five years working with church plants in Utah. In 2019, they sensed God calling them to make a change and joined Village Missions. In December of 2019, they received their assignment to join us at Azalea Community Church and he and his family moved here in February of 2020. He is excited to see how God will use him in this church.
Pastor Fred enjoys playing his guitar, fishing, hunting and running.
